Tyler Sabo entered the financial industry in 2007 after beginning his professional career in media relations. At Garrett & Robinson, if Joe and Clay are considered the builders of Your Financial House, then Tyler is your architect.
He begins by learning firsthand about your current financial situation and personal vision for the future. His approach is rooted in building authentic relationships, allowing him to design custom blueprints that help construct a financial foundation tailored to your life. Tyler has been trained, mentored, and coached by Greg Powell*, author of Your Financial House.
Tyler holds a B.S. in Education from the University of Georgia and maintains Series 7, Series 63, and Series 65 registrations through LPL Financial. He is also licensed in Georgia for Life, Accident, and Sickness insurance.
Before joining the financial services industry, Tyler spent 10 years working in the University of Georgia’s athletic department as a sports communications assistant. During that time, he directed publicity for several of UGA’s nationally ranked programs, contributing to 18 NCAA national championships and 32 Southeastern Conference titles. His work included writing, editing, and producing media guides and game-day materials for football, gymnastics, softball, and volleyball.
A member of the Carrollton Trojan Hall of Fame, Tyler spent nearly two decades helping legendary coach Craig Musselwhite host and manage the GHSA state cross country and track and field meets. He’s also volunteered at Camp Discovery, a weekend respite camp for children with intellectual disabilities.
Tyler is married to the former Kristen Peek, who is in her 23rd year of teaching physical science, physics, and chemistry. She has been recognized as Carrollton City Schools’ Teacher of the Year and is a two-time STAR Teacher. Their daughter, Jacey, attends Mississippi State University, and their son, Ty, is an upperclassman at Carrollton High School.
